DRUNKEN CHICKEN 
12 chicken halves
2 c. water
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. thyme

Lay chicken in baking dish. Combine water, butter, salt and thyme and pour over chicken. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Remove to new baking dish. Pour "Drunken Chicken Wine Sauce" over chicken, cover dish with foil and bake additional 20 minutes in 550 degree oven.

DRUNKEN CHICKEN WINE SAUCE
8 c. tomato sauce
4 c. white wine
4 tbsp. salt
5 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. pepper
2 c. chopped onions
4 tsp. paprika
24 tbsp. dried parsley
16 bay leaves
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon

Combine all ingredients and store in refrigerator in gallon jug.
