ONE SKILLET SPAGHETTI | |
1 lb. hamburger 2 med. onions, chopped 1 can (28 oz.) whole tomatoes 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped 1/2 c. water 1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms stems & pieces, drained 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. chili powder 7 oz. thin uncooked spaghetti, broken into pieces 1 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar) Cook and stir hamburger and onions in 10 inch skillet or Dutch oven until hamburger is light brown. Add all remaining ingredients except cheese into pan. Break up tomatoes and heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until spaghetti is tender (about 30 minutes). Add water if necessary. Sprinkle with cheese when done. Serve with French bread and salad. |
