CARAMEL BROWNIES 
14 oz. bag caramels
1/3 c. canned milk
1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. canned milk
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. nuts
6 oz. chocolate chips

Melt in double boiler or microwave caramels and canned milk.

Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix together cake mix, milk, butter and nuts. Pat 1/2 of batter into the bottom of pan and bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and sprinkle 6 ounces of chips on top, then pour melted caramel mix over top. Crumble remaining cake mix over the top and return to oven for 18 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
