CARAMEL BROWNIES 
14 oz. bag caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. melted butter
1 c. chopped nuts
1 box German chocolate cake mix

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. On low heat, melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in medium pan. In medium bowl, combine butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, nut and cake mix. Spread 1/2 of mixture into pan. Bake for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of cake mix. Spread caramel mixture on top of chips. Drop remaining dough over caramel. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE.
