CARAMEL BROWNIES 
14 oz. caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. milk chocolate chips

Combine caramels and 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk in top of a double boiler. Let the caramels melt thoroughly. Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk, nuts, and butter. Spread 2/3 of the batter in the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle 1 cup milk chocolate chips over top. Pour caramel over the chips evenly. Spoon the rest of the batter over the caramel mixture. You may have to drop small amounts on top as it will not spread. Return to oven for 20 minutes. Let cool at room temperature before cutting.
