BROCCOLI SALAD 
1 bunch broccoli
4 green onions
8 oz. shredded Cheddar
1/2 c. golden raisins
3/4 c. crumbled bacon
1 c. cashew halves
1/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. mayonnaise

Dice and chop broccoli, including stems. Chop green scallions, including tops.

Mix mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar for dressing.

Toss together broccoli, onion, raisins, cheese, bacon and nuts. Pour dressing over and refrigerate until serving. Can be made 1 day ahead. Serves 6-8.
