BROCCOLI SALAD | |
DRESSING: 1 c. mayonnaise 1/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cider vinegar SALAD: 1 bunch broccoli 6 slices bacon, fried & chopped 1 c. raisins 1 c. pecans, hand cut 3 green onions, chopped with green part Mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar to make the dressing and let set overnight in refrigerator or for several hours. The Day Salad Is Needed: Wash and cut the rosettes from one bunch of broccoli. Place in a serving bowl. Add bacon, raisins, pecans and green onions. Mix, cover and place in refrigerator until needed. Add dressing and stir just before serving. (Does not keep well for meals after the day it is mixed together.) |
