NEVER FAIL CHEESE SOUFFLE | |
6 lg. eggs 6 tbsp. flour 6 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 1/2 c. milk 6 oz. diced or grated natural (not processed) Cheddar cheese Preheat oven! Separate egg whites from yolks. Beat whites until stiff. Then set them aside. Using microwave or conventional method, melt in mixing bowl: Flour, butter, salt and pepper. Add milk and cheese. heat until thick and bubbly. Add beaten yolks. Pour all into beaten whites. Fold through gently. Pour all into greased souffle dish or casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve immediately. |
