THELMA'S PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
5 pork chops
1 med. onion, sliced
2 celery stalks, sliced
1/2 green pepper, sliced
1/2 c. water
1/2 can tomato sauce (8 oz. can)
4 med. potatoes
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown chops in skillet with butter. Place in casserole. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet, fry onion and green pepper for 3 minutes. Add tomato sauce and water. Cook 10 minutes. Slice potatoes on chops and season with salt and pepper.

Pour mixture of tomato sauce, green pepper and onion over potatoes and chops. Bake in covered casserole 25-30 minutes in 400 degree oven until chops and potatoes are done. (You may use 8 ounce tomato sauce and very little water.)
