PEANUT BRITTLE CANDY 
3 c. white sugar
3 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. butter
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
3 c. raw peanuts

Mix sugar, syrup and water together; cook until mixture threads. Add the raw peanuts and stir continuously, cooking until syrup mixture turns light brown in color and peanuts are done (careful not to let the mixture turn too dark). Remove from fire and add soda, salt and butter. Stir until thoroughly mixed and pour onto a buttered cookie sheet. Spread as thin as possible.
