CARIBBEAN RICE 
1 c. reg. or parboiled long grain rice
1 (16 oz.) can black-eyed peas, rinsed and drained
3 slices bacon, cooked and diced
1 med. onion, diced
1/4 c. catsup
1/2 tsp. Tabasco

Prepare rice as label directs but eliminate butter and add black-eyed peas, bacon, onion, catsup, Tabasco and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Heat thoroughly.
