Use lettuce or spinach or both mixed. In 8x12 inch pan or round casserole, put 2 inches of chopped spinach or lettuce in bottom of dish. Put 1 layer of tiny frozen peas (1 box Bird's Eye). You can add cauliflower, if you wish. Put 1 layer of spring onions (1/2 bunch, sliced fine). One layer crisp-fried bacon, about 1/2 pound, or bacon bits, but not as good.
Sprinkle over top 1/2 package Good Seasons Italian dry salad mix. Mix 1 cup sour cream with 1 cup mayonnaise. Spread over top evenly and seal the edges well. (Very important!) Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Seal with Saran Wrap or aluminum foil for 24 hours. Toss before serving or don't toss and serve as you like. Keeps over well. Yield: 10 servings.
