MYSTERY FRUIT CAKE 
1 pkg. cake mix
1/2 c. whole candied cherries (red)
1/2 c. whole green candied cherries
4 1/4 c. pecan halves
4 c. candied fruit mix
1 1/2 c. seedless raisins
1 c. chopped dates
1 pkg. white frosting

Prepare cake according to package directions. Crumble cooled cake into large bowl. Add fruit and nuts. Add fluffy white frosting to cake and fruit mixture. Blend together and pack into 2 loaf pans, cover with foil. Pans should be lined with foil.

Chill at least 24 hours in refrigerator. Cake improves when chilled longer. Slice with sharp knife.

Fantastically easy and delicious. I sometimes have trouble finding the packaged white frosting but found that a round can one works very well.
