MYSTERY CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pt. (2 c.) butter pecan ice cream, softened
3 eggs
2/3 c. water
1 can or pkg. prepared butter cream frosting mix for topping (or use
favorite homemade butter cream frosting)

In large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients form cake mix, softened ice cream, eggs and water. Blend and beat as directed on package. Turn into well-greased and floured 9x13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and cool completely before frosting.

I make this cake all the time. Your options are endless. You can use any cake mix and any "full fat" premium ice cream. Right now I'm baking a devils food cake mix with chocolate chocolate chip ice cream...
