BROCCOLI CAULIFLOWER SALAD WITH
DRESSING
 
Salad:

1 bunch raw broccoli
1 medium head of cauliflower
10 oz. bacon
1 medium onion
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Cut broccoli into small pieces. Break cauliflower into bite size pieces. Fry bacon until crisp then cut up into pieces, mix all together and add onion finely diced. Add 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.

Dressing:

2 c. salad dressing
4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. season salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 c. sour cream
4 tbsp. vinegar

Mix together dressing ingredients and then blend with veggies. Let set 2 to 3 hours before serving.

*Better if made 1 day in advance.

I substituted stevia for sugar, plain yogurt for the sour cream. I also took out the bacon and cheese, added 1/4 cup sunflower seed meats. Calories and carbs reduced, salad just as yummy! Thank you.
