SWEDISH ALMOND RUSK | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. almond flavoring 1/2 c. chopped almonds or walnuts 1/2 c. sour cream 3 1/2 c. flour Mix. Form 2 long narrow rolls on cookie sheet. Bake 45 minutes at 300 degrees. Cut into slices and arrange on 2 cookie sheets; bake on both sides at 300 degrees for 30-35 minutes total. This is a hard, crunchy cookie. Good with tea or coffee. |
