PERFECT PIE CRUST 
4 c. unsifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. solid vegetable oil (Crisco)
1 tsp. white or cider vinegar
1 lg. egg
1/2 c. water

Mix first 3 ingredients with fork; add shortening and mix with fork until crumbly. In another bowl mix 1/2 water and egg and vinegar and beat with fork.

Combine 2 mixtures and beat with fork until moistened and crumbly. Shape and divide into 4 sections. Wrap and chill 1/2 hour before rolling. Can freeze.
