HARVEST NUT LOAF 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. canned pumpkin
3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 9x5 inch loaf pan. Combine flour with soda, salt and spices. Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs and beat. At low speed add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin. Stir in chocolate chips and 1/2 of the nuts. Pour into pan and sprinkle other half of nuts over top and bake about an hour. Makes one loaf.

SPICE GLAZE:

1/2 c. powdered sugar 1/8 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. milk

Frost loaf while warm.
