BREAD PUDDING 
1 loaf French bread
1 qt. milk (enough to make it mushy, but not too much)
3 eggs
2 c. sugar (cut to 1/2 c.)
2 tbsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. raisins

Soak bread, crush with hand. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla and raisins. Stir well. Pour butter into bottom of baking dish. Add pudding. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes.

WHISKEY SAUCE:

3/4 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
Bourbon

Cook butter and sugar until well dissolved. Add beaten egg and whisk fast. Cool, add whiskey.
