LEMON ITALIAN ICE 
2 1/2 cups water
3/4 cups sugar
1 cup lemon juice

Bring water to a boil. Stir in sugar and simmer for 4 minutes. Stir in lemon juice and simmer for an additional 1 minute.

Pour into 2 square plastic containers. Freeze for about 2 hours until very slushy like and stir well.

Refreeze until solid and then shave when you are ready to eat.
