1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. sweet milk with 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in it
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 c. boiling water

Cream sugar, salt, vanilla, eggs, cocoa and shortening together. Add milk; mix in flour, then boiling water. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
