FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
Grease and flour 8 x 12 inch pan. Spread 2 cups chopped nuts in bottom.

Make batter: 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. lemon flavoring 1 c. sifted plain flour

This will be thick. Spread over nuts. Cut up 1/2 pound each cherries, pineapple and citron mix and push down into batter. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour. Freezes well.
