HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
2 to 3 med. potatoes
3 slices bacon
1/3 c. sliced onion
1 tbsp. flour
2 to 3 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery seeds
Dash of pepper
1/3 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar

Peel and cube potatoes, cook until tender and drain well. Fry bacon until well done, remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Saute onion in the bacon fat until brown and blend in flour and seasonings.

Mix the water and vinegar together and add slowly to the pan, stirring constantly. Cook for 1 minute. stir in potatoes. Put into a serving dish and sprinkle crumbled bacon over the top.
