CHOCOLATE - CHIP BANANA BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Grease bottom and sides of a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until blended. Beat in bananas with mixer on low speed; gradually add flour mixture just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into prepared pan and bake 60-65 minutes until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack 5 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely. Makes 1 loaf.
