DENVER MARINATED STEAK | |
1-2 lb. flank steak (or any cut of steak similar) MARINADE: 1 cup soy sauce 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup vegetable oil 1 cup tomato juice 2 minced garlic cloves 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper Combine marinade ingredients and transfer to a Ziploc style bag or sealable container. Trim steak (if desired). With a sharp knife make criss-cross slices 1/8-inch deep on one side, making diamond shape patterns on steak. Place steak in marinade and let sit covered and refrigerated for at least 4 hours. When ready to cook place steak sliced side down on hottest part of grill to form a crust. Flip and move to lower heat until reached desired temp. In the meantime skim off as much oil from marinade then bring to a boil. Slice steak very thin at an angle. Pour sauce over steak and serve. Perfect served with snow peas, green onion, and ginger rice. Submitted by: Jeremy |
