STUFFED MUSHROOMS 
fresh whole mushrooms
chicken stuffing mix
1/4 of butter plus 3 tablespoons
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/3 cups Monterey jack cheese or Parmesan cheese
1 package of bacon bits
1 egg

Preheat oven at 375°F.

Clean mushrooms, remove the stems and coat the outside with the 3 tablespoons of butter. Prepare stuffing mix with the water and butter. Once stuffing mix is mixed add the egg, 1 cup of the cheese, and bacon bits. Fill the inside of the mushrooms with the mix.

Sprinkle on the remainder of the cheese on top.

Bake for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
