PORK CHOPS WITH APPLES 
4 (4 oz.) lean center-cut pork chops, trimmed
1 med. onion, chopped
Vegetable cooking spray
1 1/4 c. water
1 tsp. chicken-flavored bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 medium-size cooking apples, peeled & sliced
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Brown pork chops and onion in a large skillet coated with cooking spray. Combine water, bouillon granules, and pepper, stirring to dissolve; add to skillet. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Skim off fat. Add apple slices and cinnamon to mixture in skillet. Cover and simmer an additional 15 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter, and serve hot.

Each Serving Amount: 1 chop with 3/4 cup apples. Exchanges: 1 1/2 Starch, 1 medium-fat meat. Cholesterol: 36 milligrams. Calories: 182. Carbohydrates: 25 grams. Protein: 12 grams. Fat: 4 grams. Fiber: 1 gram. Sodium: 43 milligrams.
