SHANNON'S CAJUN MACARONI AND
SHRIMP SALAD
 
1 lb. small salad shrimp
2 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
5-quarts water
1 (16 oz.) box elbow macaroni
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
mayonnaise, to taste (Best Foods or Hellman's)
salt and pepper, to taste

The key to this recipe is to cook your shrimp in the water with the Old Bay Seasoning.

Once the shrimp is cooked, remove the shrimp but save the seasoned water to cook the macaroni. Drain the macaroni and mix in the onions, celery, and enough desired mayonnaise. Best to refrigerate overnight.

The next day add shrimp and extra mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper.
