BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/3 c. cooking oil
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine in a bowl first 4 ingredients; beat well and then stir in chocolate chips. SET aside. Stir together rest of ingredients. Fill muffin tins 1/3 cup chocolate batter, and 1 tablespoon cheese batter. Top with nuts (optional). Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
