COCONUT MACAROONS 
2 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut

In a medium size bowl beat egg whites until peaks form but are not dry. Add sugar slowly until all is used, beating constantly. Fold in vanilla and coconut. Place by teaspoonfuls on well buttered cookie sheet. Bake in 225 degree oven until firm to touch. Remove from pan immediately.
