TRINITY'S WILD RICE SOUP | |
1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 2 c. chicken broth 2 c. half and half 1 1/2 c. cooked wild rice 2 c. cubed turkey 3 c. sauteed or boiled vegetables Salt and pepper Melt butter in suacepan. Add flour to make roux with a wire whip. Slowly add broth and cream. Keep sauce warm and thick. Add turkey, rice and vegetables. Season to taste. If too thick add more broth or half and half. |
