HAM BALLS WITH MAPLE SYRUP 
3/4 lbs. ground ham
3/4 lbs. ground pork
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 c. maple syrup

Combine all but the syrup, form into large balls. Pour syrup over and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Turn once. Makes approximately 10 balls.

My husband especially asks for this every time there is leftover ham. Basically, after each holiday these are made in a double batch. They really are delicious. He said his grandma made them when he was a kid.
