GREEN BEANS WITH BACON | |
1 (15 oz.) can green beans, drained 2 strips bacon, cut up 1/2 diced onion 2 tbsp. butter 1 (15 oz.) can broth or stock (your choice) 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce salt, pepper and garlic powder, to taste In skillet sauté onions, adding chopped up bacon. Cook 5 minutes. In medium saucepan add drained green beans, broth or stock and butter. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Add onions and bacon with all bacon grease. Add seasonings and Worcestershire, to taste, and simmer for 10 minutes. Serves 4. Submitted by: Amanda |
