SAUERKRAUT & PORK CASSEROLE | |
8 boneless pork chops 3 lg. cans shredded sauerkraut 1 lg. onion, sliced thin 1 or 2 apples, sliced thin 1/2 c. chablis or sherry Place contents of 1 can of kraut in bottom of baking dish. Place 4 chops on top. Add 1 can of kraut followed by slices of onion and apple. Place 4 more chops on top. Cover with remaining kraut, onion and apples (optional). Pour 1/2 cup wine over it. Cover and bake at 350 degrees 1 hour or until tender. (Recipe may be varied using pork tenderloin or by adding or deleting kraut, onions and apples as personal tastes vary.) |
