1/2 c. oil 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 c. honey 2 1/2 c. flour, sifted 1 c. orange juice 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. allspice 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Rind from 1 sm. orange Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream oil and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, until light and fluffy. Add honey, gradually. Sift dry ingredients and fold into batter, alternating with orange juice. Beat well for 8 minutes with an electric mixer. Add orange rind by hand. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased and floured 9 inch tube pan for 1 hour. Yield: 16 servings at 281 calories each. |
