PLANTATION CRUNCH 
1 lb. candi quick candy base
2 tbsp. peanut butter
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. salted Spanish peanuts or walnuts
1/2 c. chow mein noodles (optional)
1/2 c. coconut (optional)

Melt candi quick and peanut butter in top of double boiler over gently, boiling water. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl and pour melted mixture over them, stirring carefully to combine.

Spread on large sheet of foil or waxed paper to about 1/4 inch thickness. When hard, cut or break in small, almost bite-sized pieces.

(Quick, easy snack for festive - occasions. Rice Krispies or any other cereal may be used.)
