THOMAS' SPAGHETTI | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped 1 medium bell pepper, chopped 1 (16 oz.) box spaghetti (pasta) 1 (24 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce (I use Ragu) salt, pepper and garlic powder (to taste) First, cook the ground beef until well done. Remember to add onion, bell pepper and season with salt. Next cook the pasta in boiling water according to package directions until tender. This needs to be cooked in a separate pot. Drain off the hot water and rise with cool water several times (about 2 or 3 times). Now, add the meat mixture and a jar of spaghetti sauce. Season to taste with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Swirl all ingredients together (the pasta with the sauce) before serving. NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION: Spaghetti is very nutritious. Pasta is part of the bread group. Next, you have your ground beef and other ingredients which makes this a delicious meal. This may be a little hot but don't worry this goes best with a glass of water!
