RAISIN FILLED COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
Vanilla to taste

Mix Crisco and sugar. Add beaten eggs. Add water and vanilla slowly. Sift flour and baking soda into mixture. Section into amount used for a pie crust. Roll out using flour LIBERALLY. Using a water glass, cut into circles. Lay one circle on cookie sheet, drop spoonful of filling. Cover with 2nd circle. Bake cookies at 400 degrees.

FILLING:

2 c. brown sugar
2 c. water
1/2 c. flour
1 lb. raisins, ground

Boil water, sugar and raisins. Add flour mixed with small amount of water. Boil until thickened.
