RAISIN FILLED COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. milk
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
5 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs and flavoring then put in the dry ingredients. Add milk, make a soft dough.

FILLING:

1 box raisins
3 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar

Cover raisins with water. Boil on stove until water cooks down. Add sugar. When sugar dissolves make cornstarch thickening and stir in. Roll out cookie dough and cut into circles, put raisin filling on bottom part and cover with top cookie. Press edges together. Bake at 375 degrees until brown.
