RAISIN FILLED COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 egg
1 c. and 1 tsp. water
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

1 lb. raisins
2 eggs
2 tbsp. cornstarch to thicken

Cook filling ingredient until thickened. Cool.

DOUGH: Mix ingredients together. Roll and cut with round cookie cutter. Place on greased cookie sheet, press slightly in center with fingers fill center with spoonful of raisin filling. Top with another cookie and press to seal around edges. Bake at 350 degrees.
