RAISIN-FILLED CEREAL BARS 
Mix:

1/2 c.sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Stir in:

2 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. water

Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in 2 tablespoons lemon juice - prepare and cool.

Mix:

3/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. granola cereal (Quaker 100% natural cereal)

Cream butter and sugar. Stir together flour and soda. Add to creamed mixture with granola; mix well. (Mixture will be crumbly). Pat half into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Spread on filling. Add one tablespoon water to remaining crumb mixture; sprinkle atop filling. Lightly press with hand. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cut into 32 bars while warm.
