1 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. walnuts
confectioners powdered sugar

Cream butter, brown sugar and vanilla together. Then add flour and salt. Mix thoroughly. Mix in walnuts. Make 1-inch balls and place on greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes until bottom of cookie is brown. Remove from cookie sheets; cool. Just before serving, roll cookies in powdered sugar to cover. Yummy.
