LEMON SNOW FLAKE COOKIES 
3/4 c. softened butter
1/2 c. 10X sugar
1 tbsp. grated lemon rind
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. cornstarch
Sugar & sprinkles

LEMON ICING:

1/2 c. 10X sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice

Beat butter and 10X sugar in medium bowl. Add rind. Mix flour and cornstarch in small bowl. Stir into sugar mixture until smooth. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill 1 to 2 hours.

Form dough into log 11" long and 1 3/4" diameter. Roll in mixture of sugar and sprinkles to coat. Wrap log in wax paper. To keep round shape, cut tube from paper towel, roll open lengthwise. Place wrapped log in tube. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut dough into 1/4" slices. Place slices 1" apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool completely. Prepare icing. Make circles on cookies and work wet toothpick from center to outside to form snow flake design. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
