LEMON SNOW BALL COOKIES | |
1 c. Crisco 1 c. sugar 4 lg. eggs, beaten 3 tsp. lemon extract 5 tsp. baking powder 5 c. sifted flour GLAZE: 3 c. confectioners' sugar 2 1/2 tsp. lemon extract 5 tbsp. water 3 drops food coloring Sift flour before measuring. Add baking powder mix. Set aside. Cream Crisco. Add sugar; mix well. Add 1 egg at a time, milk and lemon extract; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture will be sticky. Drop by teaspoonsful on greased cookie sheet (use Baker's Joy). Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes or golden brown. Drop hot cookie upside down into frosting drip off excess. Place on wax paper. Let it dry completely before stacking. |
