1 c. butter
4 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
1/3 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecan meats, finely chopped
1 tbsp. water

Mix together with your hands and form into small balls. Bake at 275 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
