MOTHER'S HAM LOAF | |
1 1/2 lbs. ham, ground 1 1/2 lbs. fresh pork, ground 3 c. bread crumbs 3 c. milk 6 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. mustard 1/2 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Mix ingredients well. Pour into loaf pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour off fat. Pour liquid from large can of crushed pineapple over meat; bake for 45 minutes. Add crushed pineapple to top of loaves. Bake until brown, 15-20 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Makes 2 large loaves. Mother often made this for the Kings Daughters Progressive Luncheons. |
