FRAN'S CHEESE DIP 
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. cumin
1/2 tbsp. garlic powder
2 c. milk
3 jalapeno peppers, chopped very thin
3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese

Melt butter; add flour, mixing well. Cook a few minutes; add seasonings. Turn heat to low; add milk and blend well. Add 1/2 cheese, stirring constantly, then add the remainder of cheese and peppers.
