HOTDOG GOULASH
1 lb. beef hotdogs
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 med. size onion, diced
Olive or vegetable oil
3 med. size potatoes, cut into bite-size pieces
Salt, pepper, garlic powder & paprika to taste (not too much of each)

In a 10 inch skillet, put a small amount of oil and saute the onion. Cut the hotdogs into 1/4 inch slices and cook with the onion about 5 minutes over a moderate heat, stirring frequently. Add potatoes, stewed tomatoes and water to just cover everything. Add seasonings. Continue cooking over moderate heat until potatoes are tender. Serves 4.

This is a recipe handed down from my Hungarian Grandmother. I've never met anyone who hasn't liked it. It is a great meal to leave for children and a sitter.

Thank you for this recipe. My grandmother who was from Czechoslovakia used to make this for me when I was younger. She passed away a few years ago and though I know part of me will be sad to make it it'll feel like home. Thanks again.
