BATTER RYE BREAD 
2 3/4 c. white bread
1 c. rye flour
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/4 c. warm water
2 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. caraway seed

Combine flours. Dissolve yeast in water in large bowl, add honey, butter, salt, caraway seed and 2 cups flour. Beat 2 minutes, stir in enough flour to make stiff batter. Cover, let rise 45 minutes. Stir batter down. Spread in greased 9"x5"x3" pan. Let rise and bake in 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
