SWISS CHEESE BREAD 
1 loaf French, Italian or Rye bread
1 lb. Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
1 c. butter, melted
2 tbsp minced onion
1 tbsp. poppy seed
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 - 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Slice bread loaf partly through, diagonally in both directions, making little diamonds. Stuff slices of cheese in openings. Place loaf of bread on foil on cookie sheet. Mix remaining ingredients and pour mixture over bread. Seal foil tightly around loaf.

Bake at 350°F for 45-60 minutes. Check several times to be sure bottom is not browning too quickly.
